About Transmission and Distribution
Southern California Edison’s (SCE's) Transmission and Distribution Organizational Unit (T & D) is responsible for planning, engineering, constructing, operating, and maintaining transmission and distribution facilities throughout the 50,000-square-mile territory. T&D is the steward of roughly $19 billion in assets that safely and reliably deliver electricity to 14 million residents via SCE’s 5 million customer accounts.
The Scheduling Analyst will report to the Regional Scheduling Manager, Power Delivery Construction and Maintenance, and will be responsible for obtaining and tracking data for internal and external customer support for the Regional Project Superintendent.
Inputting data into various spread sheets.
Tracking Edison and contractor work activities such as Purchase Requisitions (PREQ), Service Entry Sheets (SES), and Field Change Orders (FCO) and performance.
Reviewing invoices; analyzing data; tracking and trending performance.
Data entry of all contractor time sheets using Microsoft Access.
Inputting data and tracking all work orders into DM, Click Schedule, and SAP data bases.
Generating reports, cross validating and preparing work orders for contract and Edison personnel.
Developing and maintaining schedules.
Supporting other analysts (in their absence).
Maintaining records and producing reports on scheduled vs. actual work completion dates, crew utilization, as well as other measures.
Perform other duties as directed.
Two or more years of experience working in an Analyst position.
Two or more years of experience with Microsoft Excel performing advanced functions such as VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, filtering/sorting, charts and graphing.
Two or more years of experience gathering, documenting, analyzing and drawing conclusions on complex data/information and making recommendations.
Knowledge of SCE specific programs, such as Design Manager (DM), Click Schedule and SAP.
Customer focused with ability to understand and appropriately respond to project managers and clients’ business needs.
Two or more years of experience creating presentations using spreadsheet and presentation software tools to communicate data and analysis.
Experience planning, organizing and coordinating tasks while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail and meeting assigned deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
Two or more years of experience working across disciplines and effectively engaging various levels of internal and external suppliers and stakeholders.
Strong organization, time management and prioritization skills.
Strong communications skills, both oral and written.
